There are just a few days left to enter for gavelhouse.com’s October auction with listings due online by 7pm on Sunday 23 October.
Now operating for six months, gavelhouse.com’s September auction followed the site’s trend of reaping great rewards for its users. Among the highlight lots last month was $120,000 paid for a Tavistock yearling colt, $35,000 for a Tavistock yearling filly and $32,000 for a broodmare from Waikato Stud in foal to their five-time Group One winners Ocean Park.
As has become customary on the site, demand for untried racing stock and racehorses was also very strong with this expected to continue in the coming months.
gavelhouse.com users in October will notice a number of enhancements made to the site. These changes will be rolled out this Thursday with the site scheduled to be offline for part of the day while this is done.
The catalogue for the October auction will be launched online at 7pm Monday 24 October with bidding running from 7pm Monday 31 October to 7pm Thursday 3 November.
