Mares with Fiorente foals at foot feature in gavelhouse.com Australia auction

Moondancing

The current gavelhouse.com Australia auction has a range of breeding and racing prospects on offer with bidding set to close from 7pm AEDT on Monday 27 March.

Kedarona Stud are looking to reduce their broodmare band and have some quality stock on offer including mares with foals at foot. One such Lot is Molly’s Folly, a daughter of champion broodmare sire Encosta De Lago, she and her Firoente filly foal at foot are a highlight.

Molly’s Folly was a multiple city winner and won over $216,000 and is the dam of three foals to race producing two city winners including two and three year old winner Kracken who has earned in excess of $162,000.

Moondancing (pictured with her Fiorente filly at foot) was also a multiple city winning mare. She is on offer with her Fiorente filly foal at foot with her first foal to race having placed while her Choisir gelding is a trial winner and also looks to have promise. Both foals from Molly’s Folly and Moondancing are Super Vobis eligible.

Winning mare Safariann should also attract plenty of attention. A daughter of Turffontein, this lightly raced mare has winning city form and a change of environment could be what’s needed to switch her back on. A versatile mare, she has won on turf and synthetic tracks and is still eligible to reap more Super Vobis rewards on her way to a breeding career.
