Sold on gavelhouse.com in November for $1,100 with one win to her name, the chestnut mare Way Too Sassy has now earned a total of $16,000 for her new owners.
Way Too Sassy was the race favorite, she sat sixth then found her gap and ran on at the 200m mark. From the 150m mark she lead the field, forged away from the field to win by a length and half.
Way Too Sasy is by Gr.3 winner Omaru Force who has sired 82 winners. Way Too Sassy is out of Two Steps Ahead, who is a half sister to stakes performer Stay Behind.
