More Patasi wins second up for new connections

More Patasi

gavelhouse.com Australia graduate More Patasi rewarded his connections with a win at Grafton on Tuesday, repaying his $6,250 purchase price with one smart performance.

Opening in the market as a $100 chance, the son of More Than Ready shortened into $26 when they jumped and is trained at Grafton by Julie Hodder who commented “It was a good field he was up against and he went enormous.”

“He’s a really lovely horse and has pulled up well.”

“With that in mind and the way he won yesterday, I can’t see why he won’t end up stringing a couple of wins together.”

The well-related son of More Than Ready was sold online by former trainer Kelly Schweida, a regular user of the online auction site who currently has two unreserved QTIS eligible racing prospects in the gavelhouse.com Australia catalogue which is set to close from 7pm AEDT on Monday.

Metro winner Eljetem had his last start for the stable on March 18 while the unraced Love Conquers All gelding Aceem is currently in full work at Eagle Farm and is for sale as he’s not living up to his owner’s expectations at this stage.

Other sires represented in the current catalogue include Captain Sonador, Choisir, Fastnet Rock, I Am Invincible, Jet Spour, Medaglia d’Oro, More Than Ready, Northern Meteor, Time Thief and Zupaone.

Other trainers with horses for sale in the catalogue include Mick Price Racing, Chris Waller Racing, Mark Kavanagh, Ben Currie, Collett Racing, Sheila Laxon and Busuttin Racing.
