Off the back of his last start victory over 2200m he started favourite come post time dropping back to the 2000m trip on Wednesday.

Jockey Kylie Williams settled him just four lengths behind the leader and he found the better ground to come out of the corner to kick on to win by a half-length.

“At this stage we plan to work our way through the grades and with the continuing improvement a New Zealand Cup tilt could be on the cards.”

“His next start will probably be at Riccarton Park and depending on how well he is, he could roll into another one.”
