The Klawervlei Farm Sale, hosted on gavelhouse.com’s recently launched South African site, is now open for bidding.

A total of 135 yearlings make up the yearly showpiece in the South African sales scene with Klawervlei marketing manager Grant Knowles pleased with the interest the auction has garnered thus far “Despite the challenges we have faced this year that have seen us move to online bidding, the interest has been most encouraging,” he said.

“We have had numerous visits to the farm and the general consensus is very favourable.

“The team at Gavelhouse have been fantastic and we look forward to Sunday 21st June at 6pm.”

A subsidiary of New Zealand Bloodstock, gavelhouse.com is the industry leader in online thoroughbred auctions “Hosting an auction in South Africa is a landmark occasion for our site and we are proud to have partnered with the team at Klawervlei Farm,” said general manager Haylie Martin.

“gavelhouse.com has been a game-changer in the trading landscape in New Zealand in recent years and we look forward to announcing our plans for regular auctions in South Africa in the coming weeks.”

Buyers intending to bid in the auction must complete and return to Klawerveli a Klawervlei Buyer Card Application and will then subsequently be registered to bid on the site by a gavelhouse.com team member.
